Hazel is tiny but spirited! Her size may make her cautious at first, but she gains her confidence quickly and she loves to play with other dogs! She may growl a bit to make up for her small size, and she will quickly call a stop if anyone gets too rough with her—which isn’t to say that she doesn’t like wrestling, tug-o-war, and chasing through the yard. Hazel also enjoys toys when playing with the other dogs, and sometimes grabs something that isn’t a toy.  But when she's done with play time, Hazel will sleep on your lap, with her head dangling off. Her Louisiana foster mom says that Hazel is doing well with house-training, although they haven’t tested her limits. Hazel tested negative for heartworms and is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
