Hello, my name is Charlotte. I've lived in a kennel cage and hunted all my life. Somehow me and my husband, Henry, (also adoptable) escaped from our owner and my foster step-daddy found us starving sitting in front of a church and brought us home. Kisses and affection are new to me but I'm slowly starting to warm up to that idea. I'm a pro at going through the doggy door to go outside and I'm a work in progress with getting potty trained.I 'm as gentle and sweet as they come. Since I didn't have lots of affection from my owner I'm very shy at first but I'm starting to come out of my shell. Playing with stuffed animals is fun and stealing them from my step-siblings while they chase me is more fun. I also love to be held like a baby and get tummy rubs. Tummy rubs are the best!I  love children and other dogs but I bark and chase cats. My foster step-daddy is helping me work through my cat issues. I'm really looking forward to this early retirement and eager to hear from you.
Charlotte is positive for heartworms and will be starting her treatment as soon as she arrives on February 1st.
