Scuff is a showstopper! He's a really handsome boy with a super outgoing personality, wonderful with other dogs and affectionate with people. He is such a good dog! When we first met him in person, we saw that there was something unusual about his hips. We had x-rays done and learned that sometime in his past he must have suffered an injury, possibly having been hit by a car. Clearly though Scuff learned to compensate for his injury. The ball and socket joint is still intact. It's just in a different place. This fellow can run and play with all the puppies he meets at the dog park without any problem. He is heartworm positive and we do have his treatment scheduled mid-March. He will need lots of love and snuggles during his activity restriction.
