Meet Hazel -- newly arrived. Isn't she a beautiful beagle? With her sweet and friendly personality, Hazel was definitely enjoyed by each and every one of the volunteer transporters who got her from Mississippi to Florida. She is setting in well in her foster home and doing just fine with the other dogs. She likes the cats, but she definitely likes their food and will do her best to get to it! Typical beagle food motivation. Hazel has a broken tail which does not cause her any pain but is quite. We have an appointment for her with an eye specialist mid-March just to check out that little opacity in her left eye. She is also heartworm positive and will be treated towards the end of March...but if you are interested in Hazel, you might want to let our Adoption Team know soon.
