CALEB HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING AND WILL BE GOING ON A SLEEPOVER!

New Arrival: CALEB  is a 1 year old Beagle Boy who just arrived from Alabama where he was picked up as a stray.  CALEB is a very friendly boy and does not show any shyness or timidity when meeting new people or new dogs. His little short tail just keeps on wagging! Caleb has now been neutered and tested negative for heartworms.

While having been fostered for 2 weeks, we've observed about Caleb:

- He LOVES playing with all size dogs.
- Enjoys all humans and not afraid of strangers.
- Plays well at dog park.
- Has shown intimidation/avoidance if several dogs at once meet him at gate at dog park.
- He enjoys playing fetch with frisbee, ball or stuffed animal.
- He loves chasing/hunting geckos in bushes or trees.
- When crated, he will nap or chew on his chewies if a human is within view.
- He sleeps well through the night.
- If you wish him to nap or when you need to crate him to leave the home, it is recommended that you exercise him beforehand.
- He enjoys being in same room as and/or near a human.
- He will eat plain yogurt and canned pumpkin mixed with meat broth when tummy is upset.
- He likes cooked chicken gizzards for training treats (little bits).
- Has shown fear of thunder, fireworks or gun sounds.
- When afraid, he wants to hide in a covered or dark place.
- He travels well in cars. He's accustomed to a doggy seatbelt.
- He is stealthy & quick to be at the door or gate when opening; need caution to prevent his escape.
- He has not had any exposure to cats; he has a curiosity and likes to 'meet' new things, such as birds that enter the yard or that he sees at dog park
